What is CSSD Technician Two Years Course?

The CSSD Technician is responsible for the cleaning, assembly, inspection, wrapping and sterilization of surgical instruments and medical equipment in a manner compliant and timely manner that are congruent with the operations of the Hospital, particularly those pertaining to perioperative services.

What are the Roles and Responsibilities of a CSSD Technician Two Years Course?

·         Washing, cleaning and drying the instruments

·         Monitoring the parameters

·         Packing and labelling the materials

·         Planning and executing the cleaning & sterilization processes

·         Preparing items for sterilization – gauze, cotton and such other consumables

·         Putting up and updating the Standard Operating Procedures related to CSSD
